Send Files to Yahoo! Messenger Contacts in Windows 7

Yahoo! Messenger chat application is not only used for communication purpose but it can also be helpful if users want to send files to the contacts. This saves a lot of time of the users which they would otherwise have spent by going to their e-mail accounts and uploading the files. Any types of files can be shared using the feature provided by Yahoo! Messenger and therefore it can be considered as an easy to use solution for file transfers. It is however recommended that users should not transfer large files until and unless they have high-speed Internet connection as it may take time to complete the transfer process. As a Yahoo! Messenger user in Windows 7 if you want to send any file to contact in the messenger list you can follow the steps given below:

1. Logon to Yahoo! Messenger chat application providing appropriate credentials in the interface.

2. On the main interface from the messenger list right-click on the contact to which you want to send a file.

3. From the available menu go to More Actions and from the appeared submenu click on Send File.

   

4. On the opened box browse for and locate the file that you want to send to the contact and click on Open button to start sending.
