Pixlr Grabber 2.0

Still not happy with the classic approach to taking screenshots in Windows? To me it's PrintScreen/Alt+PrintScreen all the way quickly followed by manual cropping in IrfanView when needed. On the other hand some people may consider that doing it all inside their browser is the right way so my decision to take Pixlr Grabber for a spin shouldn't come as a surprise right?

According to the official mumbo-jumbo Pixlr Grabber 2.0.5 is able to help you perform a lot of actions "with just a right-click" - "copy save share or even edit your final grabs - including any image or background." No matter how much I love my ways I must admit that this sounds a bit easier than what I described above...

... but it's not "just a right click" after all. Since it won't take much here's how to do things with Pixlr Grabber 2.0: once you install this tiny Firefox addon (about 80 KB in size) you right click in a page go to Grab pick one of the available options (entire page/defined area/visible part) select the area to grab (only if you have chosen the second option) then finally decide what to do with the resulting image - send it to Pixlr.com to be edited share it on Imm.io save it to your computer or just copy it to your clipboard.

All in all this looks like a really useful and well done Firefox addon so feel free to take Pixlr Grabber for a spin - you won't regret it! Oh yeah here's one more thing about it - in case you were wondering the images saved to your computer use the PNG format. That's all for today folks! ;)
