Logon to Yahoo! Messenger in Invisible Mode in Windows 7

Although Yahoo! Messenger is developed to allow people to stay connected with their friends and relatives who might be located anywhere around the globe the application also provides some security features which allows users to maintain their privacy if they do not want to be disturbed while talking to another friend or relative. Many applications allow users to stay in invisible mode after they are logged on to the messenger which might not be an appropriate security measure for many chat users. Yahoo! Messenger on the contrary allows users to logon to the messenger in invisible mode right from the beginning. This means that users can stay in invisible mode while logging on to the messenger so that no one can know if they are online. As Yahoo! Messenger user in Windows 7 if you want to configure the application to stay invisible while logging on you are required to follow the steps given below:

1. Double-click on the icon of Yahoo! Messenger after logging on to the Windows 7 computer.

2. On the opened interface type in user ID and password in their respective fields.

3. To stay invisible while logging on to the messenger check Sign in as invisible to everyonecheckbox.

   

4. Once done click on Sign In button to logon to the messenger.
