Disable Auto Hide Windows Media Player Controls in Windows 7
Windows Media Player that is automatically installed along with the installation of Windows 7 has a unique feature which enables it to auto hide all the playback controls whenever user interaction is not detected by the application for few seconds. This allows users to experience the visual effects provided by Windows Media Player uninterruptedly. Moreover auto hide feature for playback controls also enables users to view video files on a full-screen mode without any unwanted icons displayed on the screen. Logon to Windows 7 computer with the user account on which you want to disable auto hide in Windows Media Player.

Open Windows Media Player by clicking on the icon provided in the taskbar.

Once opened click on Organize menu available at the left corner of the interface of the application.

From the available list click on Options.

On the opened box go to Player tab.

Under Player settings section uncheck Allow auto hide of playback controls checkbox and finally click on Okbutton to save the changes that you have made.
