Change the Way Facebook Display Name is Shown

Although Facebook is mostly used by individuals who are interested in making new friends and want to stay connected with their relatives and old friends it is also used by corporate people and organizations to advertise their products and services they offer. Whatsoever the case is default configuration of Facebook displays the display name as First Name and Last Name however if users want they can change the way the name is displayed which in most cases might be Last Name and then First Name. Although this configuration is not required to be changed as in normal conditions first name and last name is written as mentioned however if as a Facebook user you want to modify the sequence in which it is displayed you can follow the steps given below:

1. Logon to your Facebook account by providing appropriate credentials.

2. At the top right corner of the main page click on down facing triangle and from the available list click on Account Settings.

3. On the opened page make sure that you are General option from the left pane.

4. From the right and click on Name option.

5. On the opened page choose the appropriate option from the drop-down list available in front of Display asoption.

   

6. Provide appropriate password in the respective field and finally click on Save Changes button to make the changes permanent.
