Automatically Decline Yahoo! Messenger Chat Invitation in Windows 7

There are times when users logon to Yahoo! Messenger and they keep on doing the regular important work. In such cases they might not want anyone to invite them for chats whether in chat rooms or conferences. A very common way to avoid this situation is that they can stay invisible so that nobody knows that they are online. Another way is that they can keep on declining the chat invitations which might disturb their regular work. The best way however is to configure the application to automatically deny all the chat invitations which are sent by other users. As Yahoo! Messenger user in Windows 7 operating system if you want to decline all the chat invitations automatically you are required to follow the steps given as below:

1. Logon to Yahoo! Messenger chat applications by providing appropriate credentials in its interface.

2. Click on Messenger menu and then click on Preferences option.

3. From the left pane click on Chat category to select it.

4. From the right pane check Ignore chat invitationscheckbox to decline the invitations automatically.

   

5. Once done finally click on Ok button to save the changes that you have made in Yahoo! Messenger chat application.
